REPLACEMENT RELAYS
SSI RELAY MODEL MBC2-560
The relay element model MBC2-560 is used in the RPR, PCR, PIR, DPR, CIR, LMR, GPR, ETR, MPT, & TR series relays. The MBC2-560 relay element is a printed circuit board mounting relay that has a single set of SPDT (Form "C") mercury-wetted contacts and is magnetic latching (bi-stable). This relay has two coils which are bifilar wound. Each coil has a resistance of 560 ohms, a sensitivity of 20 milliwatts and pulls in at 3.6 VDC. Life expectancy is 2 x 109 operations with contact arc suppression. The contacts are rated at 100 VA with a maximum switched load of 2 amps. and 500 VDC or AC peak-to-peak.
SSI RELAY MODEL MBC1-3800
The relay element model MBC1-3000 is used in the SSI relays APR-2, APR-3, & APR-4. It is also a replacement relay element for use in the GENERAL ELECTRIC relay MR-3. The MBC1 is magnetic latching (bi-stable) mercury-wetted an octal tube based relay with the coil between pins 7 & 8. It has a coil resistance of 3800 ohms. The contacts are rated at 250 VA with a maximum contact break current of 5 amps. and a maximum voltage of 500 VDC or AC peak-to-peak. It has a maximum load capacity of 250 volt-amps. The maximum rated voltage on the contacts is 350 volts.
